I'm a UX Designer with over 13 years experience in designing and building for the web.
I'm currently a Senior Interaction Designer at Google specializing in creating multimodal, conversational shopping experiences on the Assistant. Before that, I spent 7 years as a partner in an industry-leading web design and development agency called Bearded. I believe in clear, unified, purpose-driven design that solves users’ problems and aligns with stakeholders’ goals. I enjoy exploring new possibilities in an ever-changing web, and the challenge to make designs that are both intuitive and delightful to use.
I have worked with clients like Intel, PPG, The RAND Corporation, The American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In 2014, my company Bearded was a finalist for Net Magazine's Agency of the Year.
I'm also an avid letterpress printer, and in 2011 I co-founded Wood Type Revival with Matt Griffin. Born out of Kickstarter: our goal was to find rare historic wood type, and turn it into digital fonts for modern designers.
